Ingles version:

And if this day has served for something special and that helps to understand the character of Carlos is to speak with your own interpreter, José Luis García Pérez:

Q: There were people in the room who reacted to the movie, questioning your character that wasn't more forceful with the girl who threaten...

José Luis García-Pérez: It is very easy to say when you do not live this situation. Know not sure how to react if any live situation. I doubt very much that we knew to defend us in any way. In the case of Carlos, obviously he is hamstrung by their own fears but I am also sure that they are part of the fears of everyone else.

Q: As it would have been interesting to know more about the past of Carlos so that the public do not ask him constantly that react...

José Luis García-Pérez: Finish reacting how you react. Fear, in general, takes you to make wrong decisions. In this case, very wrong. Live in fear as human beings and as a society to not experience changes and want to stick with what we know, I think that ultimately is the metaphor of the film and the novel, takes you to make wrong decisions which is in the case of the decision of Carlos.

Q: cost ourselves to say our own fears...

José Luis García Pérez: When we started rehearsing the film, began to work on what everyday fears we have of those who are not aware. For example, I have the fear of electricity, is true in my life. I've never been keen to change bulbs but when you get to go deeper, you realize realize that you live with fear of electricity. That affects my life. That's a small part but deeper fears are that, ultimately, move to the society.

Q: Another reflection that led me from the movie is that we know very well judge the fears of others...

José Luis García-Pérez: Of course. We all know what to do in the situation experienced by the other. From a rupture of the couple, when you say "when a window closes, another opens", I think "you know, what will happen?". It is very easy to empathize with the other dramatic situations. When you are living the other is positive, it costs us more to be able to empathize with them.

Q: Francisco Espada told us that when he read the novel, he wanted to adapt it and said you to read and you said you make it to the director, who did it, you wanted to make the casting. Why?

José Luis García-Pérez: During the process of "Un novio para Yasmina", he sent me the script giving for granted that wanted me to do Fabian (the policeman who plays Eduardo Velasco) by myself and by my appearance. And I told him that I didn't want to make Fabian, I want to make Carlos for my reasons, obviously, but primarily by delve into a character that, in principle, I do not empathize. Same as everyone.

Delve into ideas with José Luis García-Pérez help to understand his character so complicated that as director, Francisco Espada, is a courageous challenge that has managed to overcome like so many other proposed and which remain, I enjoy. I wish I had had more time. In a next time, I hope so. I prefer that the objective of the team being made with this distribution that I hope that they will soon and should be programmed on this official section is the well-deserved reward for the effort.
